ITA expands wireless network and covers most of the country with the technology
In response to market needs, alongside investment in the new Data Center and other investments in high-capacity infrastructure, ITA announces the expansion of its wireless network to five more provinces, thereby covering most of the national territory with this technology. ITA understands that, nowadays, without telecommunications, business comes to a standstill, but with reliable, secure, and comprehensive solutions, business also moves faster.
ITA – Internet Technologies Angola, one of the largest operators in the country's telecommunications sector, announces the expansion of its wireless network to five more provinces in Angola, namely Bié, Malange, Uíge, Cuanza Norte, and Namibe. This is an important development for the telecommunications sector, as it will ensure that more economic agents, especially companies, have access to cutting-edge telecommunications services to support their activities, regardless of their geographical location.
ITA's commitment to bringing technological services to the entire country is providing economic agents with better conditions for carrying out their activities, regardless of the sector in which they operate and the region in which they are located. Telecommunications services play a very important role in the productive sector. New management paradigms require companies to be more than efficient and innovative, and in order to achieve this level of operational quality, their processes must be essentially supported by technological platforms.
“All our actions are aimed at building infrastructure that reaches further and guarantees reliability and high data transmission capacity for our customers throughout the country. This expansion of coverage reflects ITA's commitment to achieving leadership in the Angolan technology market by offering integrated telecommunications solutions involving Internet, Voice, VPN, and Data Center," said Rolf Mendelsohn, CEO of ITA.
According to Rolf Mendelsohn, by providing international-quality technological services to the market, "ITA is supporting economic development and contributing to the diversification of the national economy," he concludes.
ITA is currently investing in the construction of its second Data Center. The new infrastructure, which will be operational from July 2019, will double the capacity of Data Center services offered to the Angolan market, namely Colocation, Hosting and Cloud Services solutions, including Cage Layouts.
In remote regions, ITA provides customers with VSAT solutions designed according to their needs.
