Paratus Telecommunications currently has a vacancy for one Technical Executive in Windhoek.
The successful candidate will be accountable for the strategy, execution, cost control, and operational performance of the company’s telecommunications network infrastructure. The role carries direct responsibility for network uptime, technology cost efficiency, infrastructure scalability, and the delivery of reliable services to enterprise, wholesale, and retail customers.
This role owns the Telecommunications Infrastructure environment end-to-end, including network operations and enterprise IP support. Performance is measured on uptime, service reliability, customer-impacting incident management, and cost discipline.
Areas of responsibility will include, but are not limited to; Technology Strategy and Delivery, Network Availability, Performance and Infrastructure Management, Technology Cost Control, Customer Service and Enterprise Support, Regulatory, Risk and Security, Vendor and Partner Management, Leadership and Governance and Human Resources and Capacity Planning.
The minimum requirements for the position are as follows:
- Degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- 10+ years in telecommunications infrastructure leadership.
- 10+ years’ experience in Telecommunications Core environments; Transmission ;
RAN and Core and IP network. - Demonstrated accountability for network uptime and technology budgets.
- Experience managing enterprise network support environments.
- Strong understanding of telecom regulatory frameworks.
- Valid drivers license.
- Police Clearance
