Paratus Mozambique, founded in June 2017, holds a license from the regulatory authority, Instituto Nacional das Comunicações de Mozambique (ICNM), granted in November 2017.
Spectrum allocation followed in February 2018. With several Points of Presence (POPs) strategically located in Maputo, Matola, and Beira, we provide extensive national coverage. Our connectivity further extends to international POPs in Europe through SEACOM on the east coast of Africa, as well as to Paratus Terrestrial fiber connecting to Teraco, South Africa, and other African operations.
Continuing our expansion, we have plans underway to establish eleven additional POPs in Mozambique. At Paratus Mozambique, our focus is on providing business-oriented services delivered through licensed microwave and fiber infrastructure for last-mile connectivity in Maputo, while VSAT solutions are deployed to serve rural areas.
