Paratus Business Cup Returns to Padel Club Maputo

The highly anticipated second edition of the Paratus Business Cup returns to the Padel Club Maputo on Saturday, 7 June 2025, promising another exciting day of sport, networking, and family fun. The tournament is hosted in partnership with Paratus Mozambique, a leading provider of fiber, wireless, and satellite connectivity and part of the Paratus Group – the pan-African quality network operator.

Following the success of last year’s event, this year’s tournament, themed “Always Prepared”, has been curated as a vibrant platform where 20 corporate teams will compete, connect and celebrate in a dynamic and relaxed setting. The Padel Club Maputo, a local trailblazer for the sport, once again provides the perfect venue for this fusion of business and recreation. Paratus is championing not only this event and providing Starlink connectivity at the Padel Club Maputo but is also championing the sport of padel in Mozambique in a spirit of connection, networking and empowerment 

More than a sports event, the Paratus Business Cup is designed as a day for everyone, with activities planned for players, families and guests of all ages. While teams battle it out on the padel courts, spectators can enjoy yoga sessions, functional training, martial arts, Afro dance, express massages, team-building experiences and a variety of children’s entertainment.

Great prizes await the winners, including an exclusive all-expenses-paid trip to Cape Town, padel club points, trophies and medals. The winning team will also receive a Padel Experience in Cape Town during AfricaCom Week, where they’ll have the opportunity to play with international players. Key moments from the event will be shared across Instagram, Facebook and WhatsApp.
