Paratus has entered an agreement as a distributor for Starlink’s high-speed services across the African continent. This agreement will allow Paratus to provide Starlink to its customers across Africa, as operating licenses are awarded to Starlink in those countries. Initially, and with immediate effect, Starlink will be available from Paratus in Mozambique, Kenya, Rwanda & Nigeria before being rolled out to more countries.

Paratus Group, announces a multi-year agreement with the global innovator and leading solutions provider of wireless communications, Ceragon Networks, to provide high-capacity wireless offshore communication solutions in Angola, Mozambique and Namibia. This effectively combines Ceragon’s world-class stabilizing technology for offshore assets (rigs and or floating production storage and offloading platforms commonly known as FPSOs) with the Paratus onshore network infrastructure to give customers an unequalled service for the fast and secure transmission of vital data.

Paratus Group announces a multi-year agreement with global telecommunications provider, OneWeb, to build a gateway in Luanda, Angola, which will be operational in the second half of 2023. This new gateway will provide low Earth orbit (LEO) satellite services to several countries in the region and will bring secured solutions not only to enterprises but also to towns, villages, municipalities, and schools, including the hardest-to-reach regions of multiple African countries. This is the first of several planned OneWeb gateways in Africa.

OneWeb today announced the signing of a distribution partnership with Paratus Group (“Paratus”), the pan-African telecommunications company. The agreement will help Paratus to deliver OneWeb’s low Earth orbit (LEO) connectivity solutions across Africa once its global network coverage is activated in 2023. This agreement will focus on delivering satellite communications services to Paratus customers across 37 countries in Africa, particularly in rural and remote communities.
Paratus is audited and certified by accredited independent bodies, as part of its innovation focus for continuous improvement of processes and customer service.
