See how organisations across Africa are using Paratus solutions to transform operations, improve connectivity and deliver better outcomes.
Murang’a County faced significant challenges in delivering specialist healthcare services to its predominantly rural population. Patients often travelled long distances to access medical expertise, while healthcare workers struggled with limited digital connectivity and fragmented reporting systems.
Through Paratus Essential Access, powered by Starlink, Murang’a County has implemented one of Africa’s largest connected public telemedicine programmes, connecting 170 healthcare facilities and enabling digital healthcare delivery at scale.
Prior to deployment, healthcare delivery across Murang’a County was constrained by limited digital infrastructure, making it di cult to provide specialist medical services to remote communities.
Murang’a County partnered with Paratus Kenya to deploy Paratus Essential Access, powered by Starlink satellite connectivity, across public healthcare facilities throughout the county.
The solution combines reliable broadband connectivity, telemedicine services and digital healthcare reporting to create a connected healthcare ecosystem serving both healthcare workers and patients.

Mphande Hills Primary School in the Chipapa community serves
close to 500 learners. Despite receiving 25 new computers as
part of a broader infrastructure project led by CFAO Mobility and
World Vision Zambia, the school had no means of connecting
them, sitting well beyond the reach of fiber and mobile network
infrastructure.
Through Paratus Essential Access, powered by Starlink, the
school now has reliable, high-speed internet connectivity,
unlocking the full potential of its new computer lab for both
learners and teachers.
Murang'a County reports:
With connectivity no longer a constraint, Mphande Primary School is now positioned to expand its digital capabilities, including:
