The challenge

Before the installation, the clinic experienced slow internet connectivity, which affected administrative processes and caused delays in capturing data. Consultation rooms were among the areas most affected by these connectivity limitations.

The clinic needed a faster and more dependable connection to support its administrative requirements, research and everyday communication.

The solution

On 10 June 2026, Paratus Eswatini installed a Starlink Standard V2 Kit with a 2TB Essential Services Plan at the Sigombeni Red Cross Clinic.

The installation took just one hour and was completed without any challenges. Following installation, the connection recorded speeds of 104Mbps download and 33Mbps upload.

The Starlink service now supports the clinic’s administration, research and communications, while its existing network continues to support its CMS and service delivery systems.

The impact

Since installation, the clinic reports that it has experienced no interruptions to its Starlink connectivity. Staff are receiving emails more quickly and have a reliable connection for online research and communication with colleagues and the Red Cross Head Office.

Reliable high-speed connectivity is also helping staff conduct research to support diagnosis and prepare health education materials and presentations. Approximately 30 staff members benefit from the connectivity at the clinic.

The solution
