- Eligibility Criteria:
1.1. The Entry period will run from 28 August 2023 to 29 September 2023 inclusive.
1.2. The Giveaway is open to individuals 18 years and older.
1.3. The Giveaway is open to new customers and existing customers that renew their contracts within the entry period.
1.4. Paratus employees, their immediate family members, and affiliated partners are not eligible to participate.
- Entry Requirements:
2.1. To enter the Giveaway, participants must successfully complete the sign-up or renewal process for any of the specified Fiber to the Home (FTTH) or Wireless to the Home Shared packages during the stipulated entry period and make the necessary payment of installation fee and for the first month’s service.
2.2. Multiple entries from the same participant will increase the chances of winning.
- Geographical Limitations:
3.1. This promotion is exclusively applicable to residents of Botswana.
3.2. Participants residing outside the designated geographical area (Botswana) are not eligible for this promotion.
- Feasibility and Prerequisites:
4.1. The availability of the services included in this promotion is subject to standard feasibility checks and prerequisites applicable to Paratus offerings. Services are only available where Paratus has Network Coverage.
4.2. Paratus reserves the right to decline applications that do not meet the feasibility and prerequisites criteria.
- Draw Process:
5.1. The winner will be chosen by a random draw performed by a computer process.
5.2. The winner will be randomly selected from the pool of eligible participants.
5.3. The draw will take place on Thursday 5 October 2023.
- Winner Notification and Responsibilities:
6.1. The winner will be notified within 2 days after the draw.
6.2. The prize should be collected within 10 working days after notification from Paratus Head Office, Plot 61918, Fairgrounds, Gaborone.
6.3. The winner is required to comply with all the rules and regulations outlined in this promotion to claim the prize.
6.4. Failure to adhere to the rules may result in disqualification and selection of an alternative winner.
- Prize Conditions:
7.1. The prize awarded is non-transferrable and cannot be exchanged for cash or any other item.
7.2. The winner must accept the prize as-is and is responsible for any additional costs associated with its use.
- Maintenance and Warranty:
8.1. Paratus will not provide maintenance or warranty services for the prize awarded.
8.2. The warranty for the prize will be handled by the supplier of the device.
- Publicity Rights:
9.1. By participating in the Giveaway, participants grant Paratus the right to use their names, photos, videos and likeness for promotional purposes without further consent or compensation.
- Privacy:
10.1. Personal information collected during the sign-up or renewal process will be used solely in accordance with the current Botswana data protection act and will adhere to the Paratus privacy policy.
- Modification or Termination:
11.1 Paratus reserves the right, upon approval from the Gambling Authority, to modify, extend, update, or terminate the promotion.
11.2. Any changes to the terms and conditions will be communicated through appropriate channels.
- Governing Law:
12.1. This promotion and its terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Botswana, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Botswana courts.
- Installation and Service Delays:
13.1. The installation of the internet package purchased as part of this promotion is contingent upon ongoing infrastructure works and service availability.
13.2. Participants are advised that, due to the increased demand resulting from the promotional campaign, there may be delays in scheduling installations.
13.3. Paratus is committed to making reasonable efforts to ensure timely installations, but participants should anticipate potential delays.
- Communication:
14.1. Paratus will communicate any significant updates, delays, or changes in the installation schedule to participants via the contact information provided.
- Limitation of Liability:
15.1. Paratus shall not be held liable for any losses, damages, or expenses incurred as a result of participation in the Giveaway, acceptance of the prize, or use of the awarded services.
- Indemnification:
