Enhancing Connectivity and Regional Resilience

Key stats:

In late 2022, Paratus Botswana initiated an 840-km fiber route from Gaborone to Mamuno, passing through Molepolole, Letlhakeng, Kang, and reaching the Namibian border. This project connects Botswana to the 144-terabit Google Equiano subsea cable, landed in Swakopmund, Namibia, in 2023. This investment ensures faster, more reliable connections, route diversification and enhanced redundancy.
