Business Data Analyst

Paratus Telecommunications currently has a vacancy for one Business Data Analyst in Windhoek.

We’re looking for a Business Data Analyst with solid experience in the Telecom/ICT sector to lead data analysis initiatives that support strategic and operational decision-making. You will analyze subscriber usage patterns, service performance, billing, and customer behavior to identify trends, forecast churn, and uncover growth opportunities. The role involves developing detailed reports and dashboards on key KPIs such as ARPU, churn, and data consumption, while also tracking the effectiveness of campaigns and product performance. You’ll work closely with teams across marketing, product, IT, and network operations to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights that drive business value.

The minimum requirements for the position are as follows:

• Postgraduate degree or certifications in: Data Analytics / Business Intelligence, Telecommunications Engineering, Data Science, Information Systems.
• 3+ years experience as a Business/Data Analyst in the telecom industry or a high-volume customer data environment.
• Hands-on experience working with BSS/OSS systems, CRM platforms, and network data analytics.
• Proven experience in building dashboards, KPI tracking, and advanced data modelling.
• Experience in telecom fraud detection, customer segmentation, or churn prediction is a plus.
• Drivers License
• Police Clearance
