Cyber Security Engineer

Paratus Telecommunications currently has a vacancy for a Cyber Security Engineer in Windhoek.

The successful candidate should be able to design, implement, and manage security measures to protect computer systems and networks from cyber threats. She / He works to identify vulnerabilities, respond to security incidents, and ensure confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data. This involves developing and implementing security protocols, conducting risk assessments, and monitoring security threats. The ideal candidate would be described as a curious individual, diving deep into security risk matters resolving all points meticulously.

The minimum requirements for the position are as follows:

• SSCP
• CISSP would be an added advantage
• Security+
• Ethical Hacker Certification would be an added advantage
• Fortinet Certified Professional (Security Operations)
• Microsoft Azure Administrator AZ-104
• ISC2 Security Practitioner would be an added advantage
• Minimum 3 years in Security
• Police Clearance
• Drivers license
