The goal of this event is to make annual cycling accessible to everyone in a safe, controlled environment—right from the comfort of your own home.
About
Cycle Classic has been proudly organised by Rotary Club Windhoek since 1999. This annual sporting event with a family-fun bias has grown over the past 24 years into one of Namibia’s premier cycling weekends. The Paratus Namibian Cycle Classic promises cyclists a premiere sporting experience where they can challenge themselves and advance beyond their limits, whilst contributing to community service projects all over Namibia. The event typically sees entries of over a thousand cyclists and welcomes cycling enthusiasts from countries such as Angola, Botswana, and South Africa, allowing them to experience Namibia’s beauty, as well as give local families the opportunity to spend quality time enjoying the outdoors.
The event will provide:
- Mass start
- Individual timing from start to finish with awards for all categories
- Closed roads or police moderated traffic that ensures you don’t have to stop during the race
- Vendors, Activities and Entertainment for the whole family to enjoy
